Students Today Leaders Forever (STLF)
What is the purpose/mission of your organization?
To reveal leadership through service, relationships, and action. We plan an alternative Spring Break trip to 5 different cities where we volunteer in each community and get the opportunity to explore the city. Our destination city this year is San Antonio, Texas! Who needs Spring Break plans?
Why did you personally get involved with this organization? What makes you passionate about this organization?
I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my Spring Break freshman year. I saw a flyer for an alternative spring break trip in my residence hall and looked into it. I didn’t know what to expect, but after 9 days, I made 45 new friends, traveled to 5 cities I had never been to, and made a difference across the country. I grew as a person and as a leader from this trip and I can’t think of a better way to spend Spring Break! – Alyssa P.
I joined because I wanted to see places I’d never been and do things I’d never done.
– Matthew L.
I signed up for my first STLF trip because of my passion for volunteering, hunger for adventure, and desire to form meaningful connections with others. STLF has held my fervor because it’s an organization that is truly centered around doing good in the world and learning to grow as a person while doing so. -Katie G.
